Having lived in the United States since I was a kid, I decided to visit Costa Rica to merely study Spanish for six months at the age of twenty four.  But being fully immersed in Costa Rican life during those months, I fell in love with the culture, language, food and life in general.  Since then, I’m now permanently living in Costa Rica, teaching English online from the comfort of my home.  My goal is to provide you information about Costa Rica - one of the world’s best tourist destinations, but also best-kept secrets!  Whether you’re planning a vacation, thinking about studying abroad, or making that big leap to maybe living here full time, I hope you find this website to be very beneficial for your next trip to Costa Rica.  Pura vida! (which means, “Pure life” – the national phrase which embodies life in Costa Rica)
